It is Indonesia Pavillion, people. Already reach 6 million visitor last month. Wow... I wish, I was 1 of them.. yeah.. just in dream. Indonesia is the largest pavilion during Expo maintenance history of 159 years, both in terms of area and the aspects highlighted in the pavilion. The most highlighted factors that are different cultures, nature, art, and dance of Indonesia, which it presents many interesting things.
The theme of Indonesian pavilion is Biodiverse City. Dubbed as Indonesia IS, the Indonesia Pavilion is inspired by commonalities of Indonesia’s diverse traditional houses - bamboo, stilts, open plan, wall-less, and oneness with Nature. It's described as a world of continuity, of being in harmony with each other and nature.
The exterior of the 4,000 square meters Indonesia Pavilion is covered with greenish bamboo sticks while some bamboo also grows out from the pavilion's ceiling. With a special fibre that is strong and breathes well, bamboo has long been favored as a construction material. The use of bamboo for the Indonesia Pavilion symbolizes the synergy between the traditional and contemporary lifestyles of Indonesia. Bamboo symbolically represents Indonesia’s endurance, humility and adaptability in embracing change.
Indonesian pavilion is divided into three zones: Bio Zone, Diverse Zone, and City Zone. The building also features indoor waterfall, Bio Tunnel, Music Tunnel, 680 square meters Borobudur Megawall, collection of 2,200 narrative exhibits, indoor screening room, amphitheater, food and beverage area, and coffee corner.
The mascots of Pavilion of Indonesia are: Pongo the orang utan and Koko the Komodo dragon. But then, the total operation of the Indonesian Pavilion is estimated to cost IDR 200 billion or approx USD 23 million. Wow....

In my opinion, It’s a big contradiction, if we consider to allocate the fund for build rural schools in many islands in Indonesia and help the poor citizen. With the Rp 200 billion, far better if the government tries to improve the living standards through education and other social programs. Human life is far more priceless than just the largest pavilion in World Expo, isn’t it?
In my opinion lho..... but whatever it is, I alway wish the best for my country and for my dear Kaka 's country.. Malaysia.
